It all begins with an idea.

the program.

The 'In Motion' program empowers youth through confidence and resilience building activities, leading to more independence. As a mentor, I prioritise positive relationships, understanding the immense impact of role models. Consistency, listening, and support help build trust, encouraging young individuals to step out of their comfort zones. Goal setting aimed at building confidence and life skills is what our program is about. We know life can be full on at times, so we cater to the needs of all families. We address time constraints by offering doorstep sessions, school-hour collaboration, and weekend options, with convenient pick-up and drop-off services for families facing transportation barriers.

What is our motion?

We aim to build.

  • When young people feel competent in their ability to interact with others, they are more likely to approach new challenges with a sense of self-assuredness. This confidence not only enhances their social relationships but also extends to other areas of their lives, such as academics and extracurricular activities.

  • Confidence serves as a foundation for self-belief and self-worth, enabling them to develop a positive self-image. With confidence, young people are more likely to take on challenges, explore new opportunities, and pursue their interests with enthusiasm.

  • In an ever-changing world, resilience enables young people to adapt to new circumstances and emerging situations. It teaches them to face their fears, take risks, and develop the confidence needed to pursue their aspirations.
